2018 ICAA Summer Conference: Capture is Headed to Cleveland!

Next week, Capture Higher Ed will be in beautiful Cleveland, Ohio for the 2018 ICAA Summer Conference, August 1-3, at the Marriott at Key Center. This year, the Independent College Advancement Associates, better known as the ICAA, is celebrating its 60th anniversary of helping advancement professionals better understand the issues facing private higher education.

Capture’s very own Kevin Bauman, director of philanthropic initiatives, and Heather Mueller, vice president of higher education solutions, are presenting at the conference on Thursday, Aug. 2, at 11:30 a.m. in Ballroom C. Their seminar, “Knowing When to Have the Talk: Planned Giving,” will touch on several points related to how marketing automation can help advancement professionals best time a planned giving conversation.

Bauman recently blogged: “As anyone who has worked in fundraising knows, success in planned giving is a matter of timing. If you reach out too soon, the conversation often does not take shape because the prospective donor isn’t ready. If you reach out too late, the conversation likely already happened with another organization.

“That’s why the ability to identify alumni who are visiting your planned giving site can be the crucial difference between success and missing an opportunity. It allows your institution to know — down to the individual alumnus — the ‘Goldilocks moment’ to open the planned giving conversation.”

Meet Kevin and Heather in person at the 2018 ICAA Summer Conference and learn more about how marketing automation is allowing gift officers to communicate with alumni and donors when it matters most.

We can’t wait to meet you in Cleveland!
